Kieran Vincent and Andy Ogletree are gearing up to compete at the International Series Japan this week, with eyes on grabbing early points in The International Series Rankings to earn their return to the LIV Golf League.
The event kicks off Thursday at Caledonian Golf Club as the season's first stop on The International Series. Both players have been mainstays on the tour since it began in 2022.
Vincent, who claimed victory at the 2023 International Series Vietnam, heads to Japan eager to capitalize on his solid 2025 season, where he ended in the top 20 of the Rankings. A third-place tie at the Jakarta International Championship nearly pushed him into the top ranks and earned him a spot in LIV Golf Promotions earlier this year. He didn't advance there, unlike in 2023 when a top-three finish locked in his League spot.
The Zimbabwean shared: “It stung to miss out at LIV Promotions this year, but competing on the Asian Tour and The International Series offers a real shot to work your way back. That's my target, and I see this as the right path.”
He's following a roadmap his brother Scott Vincent has mastered—Scott led The International Series Rankings for the second straight year last season to reclaim his LIV Golf League place, having also won it in 2022.

Back in Japan, where he posted a T12 finish last year, the 29-year-old welcomes the test and the road ahead. He said: “Japan's an electric spot for golf, and teeing it up for those fans is a thrill I always anticipate. Sure, we all aim to shine, but for me this season is about staying in the moment, tackling the hard parts, and savoring the long haul.”
As a three-time International Series champion, Ogletree understands how to turn strong play into big breaks. The American dominated the 2023 Rankings to earn his LIV Golf League card, then played for Phil Mickelson’s HyFlyers GC in 2024 and 2025.
Now rejoining the Series, the 28-year-old is laser-focused on rebuilding speed and making his League comeback.
“Gaining traction right out of the gate matters a lot to me,” Ogletree noted. “My aim is to return to LIV fast. A hot start can unlock opportunities, be it rejoining the field or setting up strong for what's next.”
His LIV stint featured highlights like a tied-third in Adelaide and tied-sixth in England in 2024, fueling his determination.
“My plans for Japan are straightforward,” he continued. “Follow my routine, craft a solid strategy, and go all-in on each shot. I'm dialing back into my best game, and I'm pumped to get after it.”
