Kazuki Higa received the prestigious Kyi Hla Han Award for Asian Tour Player of the Year, voted by peers. The Japanese star clinched the 2025 Order of Merit title with two wins, becoming the first from his country to do so—and also topped Japan's Money List in 2022.
He sealed it with back-to-back victories at the Shinhan Donghae Open (Korea) and Yeangder TPC (Chinese Taipei) in September, plus a joint second at International Series Philippines, overtaking Scott Vincent.
Other winners: PIF Saudi International (Tournament of the Year, third time in four years; Josele Ballester won last year at Riyadh Golf Club); Link Hong Kong Open (International Series Tournament of the Year, third straight); Royal Golf Dar Es Salam (Red Course, Players’ Choice Course; Vincent won International Series Morocco there).
